Who we’re looking for ?
We are looking for a hands-on insurance professional who can quickly take ownership of operational insurance matters in a complex, project-driven environment. You combine strong technical insurance knowledge with accuracy, curiosity and the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders, brokers, insurers and experts.
An insurance specialist with professional experience in claims, policy administration and insurance follow-up.
Someone who feels comfortable working in a technical and construction-related environment, where projects, deadlines and risk management are key.
A reliable point of contact for colleagues who need clear, practical and service-oriented insurance advice.
A structured team player who is accurate, proactive and able to manage several files at the same time.
Your Responsibilities ?
Manage insurance claims from A to Z: assess whether new claims need to be declared, register them in the CRM tool and coordinate follow-up with project managers, experts, brokers and insurers.
Handle insurance-related questions from the business, including subcontracting agreements, claims, policy coverage, certificates and invoicing.
Follow up the administration of insurance policies: review new policies, check project policy extensions and verify related endorsements.
Analyse insurance requirements and contractual conditions for tenders or projects outside the scope of the standard insurance programme.
Request and review insurance offers for specific projects, including CAR/TRC, liability and decennial insurance policies.
Monitor new projects in CRM, including project duration, reception dates and transition into the maintenance period.
Support the management of workplace accident insurance across entities, including annual audits, statistics, coverage follow-up and coordination with brokers.
Review broker invoices, follow up outstanding payment reminders and ensure accurate insurance-related administration.
Prepare periodic reporting and follow-up, such as quarterly claims statistics, TRC project lists, annual certificates, insurance budgets and renewal documentation.
Participate in expert meetings, claims review meetings and insurance-related coordination with entities when required.
Your Skills & Experience ?
We are open to candidates at different stages of their career — from ambitious graduates eager to learn the insurance profession to seasoned insurance specialists looking for a broader and more strategic role. Depending on your background and experience, the responsibilities can be expanded accordingly.
You understand key insurance processes such as claims handling, policy administration, certificates, renewals and broker follow-up.
You are fluent in Dutch, French and English, and can communicate clearly with both specialists and non-specialists.
You are accurate, organised and able to keep track of multiple files, deadlines and stakeholders.
You are comfortable working with digital tools such as CRM systems, Excel, Word and other administrative platforms.
You are curious, dynamic and collaborative, with a practical mindset and a strong sense of service towards internal clients.
If you enjoy combining technical insurance expertise with hands-on support for the business, this opportunity is a great way to contribute to projects with real impact.
